Bitcoin Mining for Beginners – Complete 2026 Guide
Learn Bitcoin mining
- Hardware, setup, pool, wallet
- Step-by-step guide
- First miners from €289 out of German stock
Five steps to your first miner
- Determine your electricity price per kWh — it decides machine and economics
- Sort out the location: dedicated circuit, ventilation, distance from living areas
- Pick a machine matching the required efficiency class (see the ASIC comparison)
- Create a wallet and a pool account
- Connect the miner, enter pool and wallet in the web interface, verify hashrate
What beginners usually underestimate
Three things almost always cause disappointment: 70–75 dB of noise, several kilowatts of heat in a small room, and the electricity bill in continuous operation. All three can be clarified beforehand — which is why location comes before hardware.
The fourth is difficulty: today's daily yield is not the yield in twelve months. Plan with a discount or every projection turns over-optimistic.
Pool, wallet and first payout
A pool combines the hashrate of many miners and pays out proportionally — the only sensible route for single machines. Fees are typically 1–2 %. Payouts go directly to your wallet address once the minimum is reached. Enter that address carefully: mistyped addresses cannot be corrected.
Shipping, warehouse and delivery time
Stocked units ship within 2–4 business days from our warehouse in Bavaria, Germany. Because the hardware is already imported and cleared inside the EU, there is no import VAT, no customs paperwork and no waiting for air freight from Asia. Models sourced directly from the factory show their own delivery time on the product page.
We ship insured to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the rest of the EU. Orders above 1,000 € ship free within Germany, and express shipping is available for stocked units.
Payment, invoice and warranty
You can pay by bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or cryptocurrency. Every order comes with a proper invoice showing VAT. EU business customers with a valid VAT ID are invoiced at 0 % under the reverse-charge scheme, and we can switch your session to B2B mode with net prices.
New and used miners are covered by statutory warranty under EU law. Used units are tested, cleaned and shipped with a logged hashrate; the exact scope is stated on each product page.
Advice before you buy
We help you check electricity tariff, power connection, cooling, noise and realistic payback before you order — including when the honest answer is that a machine will not pay off at your kWh price. Send us your electricity cost and the planned location and we will run the numbers with you.
