Kaspa mining with kHeavyHash: what is different
Kaspa is a proof-of-work coin built on a blockDAG instead of a single chain: blocks are produced roughly every tenth of a second and ordered in parallel, which gives miners frequent small payouts instead of rare large blocks. The hashing algorithm is kHeavyHash, a matrix-multiplication variant of Heavyhash that only dedicated ASICs compute efficiently – a Bitcoin miner (SHA-256) or a Litecoin miner (Scrypt) cannot mine KAS, and GPUs stopped being competitive once ASICs shipped. Kaspa's emission is also different: it decreases every month on a smooth schedule rather than halving every four years, so revenue per TH/s declines by design even at constant price and network hashrate.
For a buyer that means two things. First, hashrate per euro matters more than on Bitcoin because the network is smaller and grows quickly – the KS7's 30 TH/s put you in the current top efficiency class at 123.3 W/TH. Second, plan conservatively: use a Kaspa calculator with today's network hashrate and a KAS price you would still accept, and check whether the unit pays back within a period you can live with. We do not publish profit figures because both inputs move daily.

Setup, pools and location for the KS7
Setup is the same as on any Antminer: connect LAN and power, open the web interface, enter the pool's stratum URL and your KAS wallet address as worker name, save. Herominers, K1pool and 2Miners are large kHeavyHash pools; pick by fee (typically 0.5–1%), payout threshold and a European server for low latency.
