Kaspa uses the KHeavyHash algorithm and a BlockDAG structure with very short block times. For miners that means frequent small payouts instead of rare large blocks, but also difficulty that climbs quickly during growth phases. Kaspa ASICs are built for this algorithm only and cannot be switched to Bitcoin.
