The electricity price is the whole story

In Germany mining rarely fails because of hardware — it fails on the tariff. At 30 ct/kWh a 3 kW miner costs around 540 € per month, which has to be earned back first. So three setups are realistic here: surplus solar, heat reuse, or a commercial/hosting rate.

Anyone meeting none of those three should treat mining as a hobby, not an investment. We say that before the purchase on purpose.

Legal and practical points

Mining is legal in Germany. The main things to handle are the electrical installation (a dedicated, correctly fused circuit — use a qualified electrician if unsure), noise towards neighbours, and the tax treatment of revenue. Payment, invoice and warranty

You can pay by bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or cryptocurrency. Every order comes with a proper invoice showing VAT. EU business customers with a valid VAT ID are invoiced at 0 % under the reverse-charge scheme, and we can switch your session to B2B mode with net prices.

New and used miners are covered by statutory warranty under EU law. Used units are tested, cleaned and shipped with a logged hashrate; the exact scope is stated on each product page.
