Loud. Air-cooled S19 miners, the S19j Pro included, run at around 75 dB according to the manufacturer – roughly a vacuum cleaner that never switches off. It belongs in a basement, garage, workshop or utility room, not in a living space. Firmware with undervolting such as Braiins OS+ can lower the noise somewhat, at the cost of a little hashrate.

Which socket and circuit does the S19j Pro need?
The S19j Pro has a C14 inlet and an APW12 PSU for 200–240 V; on 110 V it does not start. At 230 V it draws about 13.3 A, so it needs its own, properly fused 16 A circuit and a C14 power cord rated for that load – for example our Schuko-to-C13 cable with 2 mm² conductors. Never plug two miners into one household outlet, and have an electrician check the installation if in doubt.
What warranty comes with the used S19j Pro?
